Living in Scandinavia the art of layering quickly becomes essential knowledge. So for our very first Fall/Winter collection Running Is Dead has developed a series of items to help you through the dreadful winter months when less dedicated runners go into hibernation…
The Drop 3 Fall/Winter collection includes an entirely new Running Wind Jacket featuring an adjustable hood and a stow-pocket, new Running Wind Pants where we have had our favorite pair of jeans in mind when designing the fit, a Beyond Running Fleece and a Beyond Running Micro Fleece which both feature a back zip for proper ventilation and are meant to be used either as fair weather outerwear or as nasty weather mid layers.
Tried and tested in the harshest weather conditions in Northern Sweden with the needs of part-time resident of Åre, Sweden, Johan Lantz of Ockelbomaffian in mind, we have ensured that these products will keep you going no matter what Mother Nature throws at you. We call it our tribute to year-round running.
Running Wind Jacket
Perfectly shaped hood to work as a balaclava when it gets windy. Under or over your our New Running Hat – It’s up to you. Air Vents in the back – To help you let some heat out whenever needed. Side pocket – To stash your phone for easy access whenever you feel like snapping a photo of a polar bear crossing your trail or a couple of reindeer feasting on a blueberry pie on the side of the road. Also, the pocket doubles as a small bag – For easy storage of your jacket.
Running Wind Pants
We took the best ideas and features from our Running split shorts, with inspiration from a pair of perfectly fitted denim jeans and added the performance of sports pants with running criterias as our key focus to create the perfectly fitted running pant. Back pocket to stash keys, energy bars and a credit card.
Beyond Micro Fleece
We took inspiration from one of the most popular pieces of outdoor apparel and added elements of running to it. Zippered air vents in the back, a half zip to let the air out, and a narrower silhouette to fit perfectly under our Running Wind Jacket or over our Running Sleeve long sleeve t-shirt.
Beyond Fleece
For those really cold days or just as an everyday item to wear on your way to work, the gym, the bar or just for hanging out we created our heritage fleece jacket. Style it any way you want, over our Running Wind Jacket or with a pair of jeans. We added Zippered air vents in the back for ultimate running performance as well as side pockets to stash all your belongings.
